Hi Grizzly Track and Field Fans,
We had a great meet last week against San Marcos and won at all 5 levels of the program (JV Girls, Varsity Girls, Frosh Boys, JV Boys and Varsity boys). The girls won and finished the dual meet season at 3-4 and won their 9th straight Trail Post trophy against San Marcos (9-0 all-time, the only athletic program in school history who has never lost the cross-town rivalry). The boys finished the dual meet season at 6-1 and won the Trail Post award again, leading to an 8-0-1 record all-time. I will be updating the Trail Post trophies next week and they will be ready to show off and celebrate at the banquet on June 3rd, then placed in the Grizzly Pavilion’s trophy case for another year!
This week we have League Prelims on Tuesday and League Finals on Friday for the Varsity athletes that have qualified. I have attached the time schedule for tomorrow, as well as the meet program if you would like to print out the heat sheets. It should be a great meet and hopefully the weather cooperates, as we would like as many athletes as possible to qualify for Friday.
