Welcome to Carrillo Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The mission of the PTO is to work closely with the school to help provide the outstanding programs, comprehensive services and enriching activities we all want for our children. We provide a conduit for parents and the community to be involved and help the school, and through our involvement, demonstrate to our students and parents that it truly does "take a village" to educate our children.
As stated in the school's philosophy, "Working as a team, we cooperate to ensure optimum learning and growth for all students." Every parent is automatically a member of the Carrillo PTO, and we welcome you to participate as fully as possible in your child's education! It really does take a village, so please volunteer to help whenever you're able to. Board and committee member positions are filled every year toward the end of the school year for the following school year. If you are interested in more information, please contact our PTO President, Estelle Hilmen at CarrilloPTO@gmail.com.
Our PTO is run by parent volunteers who donate their time performing specific jobs and carrying out a variety of duties on behalf of our school and its staff, students, and families. Our PTO parent volunteers
are totally unpaid and do not receive any monies from the PTO for their work. All monies generated by the PTO directly benefit every student at Carrillo Elementary. For PTO-related questions, please email CarrilloPTO@gmail.com.
